For the love of photography
Photography to me is all about collaboration, between you, your camera and who/whatever you are photographing. It's about seeing something in your own way, and expressing that opinion. It's playing with the technology too, manipulating the mechanics to produce what you see in your mind’s eye. I love to share my passion for photography, one of my biggest pleasures is seeing the realization in students eyes, when they “get it”. For me it doesn’t matter what tool you use, DSLR, Cell phone, mirrorless or old school film, it's about what you see and using the tools to make that idea become your visual voice.

Phone photography
Learn to take better photos using your phone camera. The cameras are amazing these days and there are all kinds of features that you may not know about. In this class I will let you in on those (seemingly hidden) features, limitations of the camera, composition, and post processing. This is hands on, you will take photos around you and we will process them together. To make the class even more fun, I try to pick a location that is interesting to photograph. My favourite classes have been at Red Truck Brewery (the class includes a beverage too!)
My Corporate friends, this class is perfect for your team. I can tailer the class specific to your company needs. Bring in your event team, HR, marketing, we will have fun and your team will learn valuable skills to increase the quality of the images they make. That means several things; where to store the images, how to process them - Tweek them, make them go from being good photos to being Awesome, Getting your images printed. This class is an overview of Lightroom, an introduction, plus answering specific questions you have.
